Do we know how much itās going up to?
I know Iāll sound obsessed but I would go as far as saying even up at 12-1300 itās worth it. Still absolutely love using mine and itās great trying new coffees for both filter and espresso with the I200 burrs.
Changing the subject, has anyone ever had anything machined/turned from metal?
Itās slightly wild but I was considering designing a hopper lid in Solidworks with a little sight glass built in and having it turned in stainless.
I was going to get a wooden one but think the stainless would look great with the rest of the Philos.
I might send a design to a few companies. I found a few that specialise in prototyping and do one-offs. Theyāll probably tell me itāll cost more than the grinder š
