Hello!

Off of the back of the light roasted thread, I wondered whether people had found good, fruity green beans.

I’ve been impressed by the Ethiopian rocko mountain reserve at Pennine, though it isn’t cheap. Very strawberry like. I also have their yirgacheffe degassing as we speak.

Anyone else have recommendations?

Ethiopian Banko Gotiti has been a treat this year. I’ve roasted it very light and you can get some nice berry notes.

Guatemalan Blue Ayarza too although more enjoyable in brew methods than espresso for me.

    Ikawa Roaster

Just had the pennine Yirgacheffe, it’s nice, surprisingly sweet, but not quite as definitively fruity, much lighter in flavour than the rocko mountain. But perhaps I just roasted it poorly!

Perhaps one for filter instead of espresso!
