Today I had the pleasure of visiting Carringtons Coffee Co for their grand opening day. They are situated just a short walk from my home in Carnforth, Lancashire, so I couldn’t turn down the invitation for free coffee and a tour of the premises.
After a cup of very nice Ethiopian I watched the roasting demonstration
Alex explains that this roast is for espresso, so it will be a dark roast. We will wait for the second “crack!”

I couldn’t leave without a visit to the shop for a 1kg bag of their house espresso blend “Doghouse.” I should enjoy this, let’s face it, I’ve lived there most of my life! 🤣
