MWJB Thanks, I’ll try 27.
I’m not 100% confident in my observations and differentiating between them, but I try to write down what my thoughts were. I don’t know if my descriptors would match yours.
I think I’ve gotten better differentiating the tastes and sensations.
I’ve had a few brews that I were noticeably better balanced and not as dominating acidic/sour, which makes me hopeful that there’s something too it and it’s not just very acidic beans, but I don’t know how far in that direction it can go. I also expect more pleasant acidicy, balanced with sweetness. Not the puckering kind.
It will be helpful when I get some less acidic beans to brew and compare with.
I’ll be away at work the next week, where I got a Lido 3 and bottled water instead of the C40 and home tap. Will be interesting to do some testing with it. Maybe I’ll bring the Kruve to get some grind numbers, probably not the refractometer.
