Star Trek Next Generation…great show, ahead of it’s time and a great cast. The stories were interesting and we’ll written.

For me it’s got to be The Sopranos. I didn’t watch it at the time it was on TV but started about 15 years ago. It’s perfect.

Sadly Paulie Walnuts, my favourite character, passed away last week. RIP Pauly

Boston Legal - James Spader is as brilliant as ever and William Shatner is a revelation.

Well worth checking out.

I’m with dutchy. The Sopranos was truly epic. Up there with The Godfather.

If it were not that, it’d be Laurel & Hardy.

Too many to choose.

In my youth… Thunderbirds, Space 1999, Dr Who, Star Trek.

Now… Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, Sopranos, Sons of Anarchy, Sneaky Pete, Banshee, Deadwood, San Clarita Diet, Justified, Happy, Sherlock, Line of Duty to name just a few… I could watch all over and over again and I could go on, but the list is chuffin endless!

Out of Town with Jack Hargreaves’s, used to love the fishing episodes.
Morse, last of the summer wine. Stargate Atlantis, stargate sg1. Midsummer murders. I am sure more will come to mind once I have posted.

Can’t pick just one, it’s too hard.

I’d say growing up as I kid I loved bottom

It’s a moveable feast, as years pass, tastes and preferences usually change.

Over the decades (dear lord!) there have been some truly wonderful shows, from early Dr Who, The Goodies, Monty P, Tony Randall, X-Files, Summer Wine, Ab Fab, Aeon Flux, Young Ones, Red Dwarf, Blacklist……,to name only a very few. Even the not so great were watchable most of the time.

Don’t really watch free-to-air tv any more, I find it somewhat inane and insulting. Guess that’s part of the Old Buffer schtick…. And I don’t need another blood pressure booster, lol!!!

You see this is an impossible question to answer because when you read others replies you go… Oh yes! and Oh yes that was cracking too….

the original Randall & Hopkirk Deceased, Bottom, One Foot in the Grave, The Persuaders, The Champions, The Saint, Danger Man, The Prisoner…. Oh and my most favourite….

The Avengers… especially with Mrs Peel… Diana Rigg…phwoar!

The Sopranos I think if I had to choose one. The last show I remember being excited for each week (back when we actually had to wait for the next episode!). Rewatched since and it’s still incredible.

Runners-up are the US Office and Curb Your Enthusiasm. I think too many people miss out on the US Office because the first series just tried very very badly to mimic the original and was almost cancelled as a result. After season one it becomes it’s own show and is laugh out loud funny. Forget the name of it and just watch as it’s own show, it’s well worth sticking with!
