Similar to what Dave says, looks like the skins you get on sacks of green coffee and there’s more with naturals, which the guji probably is.
My guess is the roaster had the greens in a container, roasted the batch and then put the roasted beans in the same (now empty) container…..though to get that much on them maybe they bagged up the green in the retail packing if they’re roasting small batches to order. Either way, if I’m right, that’s a bad practice and not good food hygiene.
