I think I’m still ok(need to check the freezer) but my OH is almost out of decaf. I’ve found a couple of decent local roasters to suit both our needs but they’re both at least a 30 minute drive and each in the opposite direction.

    I’ve had one bag go MIA even though it was RM48hr tracked (dispatched 1Dec). Roaster has been great and sent a replacement 24hr tracked - which is now 72hrs and counting.

    Thankfully (I think?) I had a stomach bug so didn’t drink any coffee for 5 days. Otherwise I’d be out by now.

      I was away last week for a meeting for work. I was running low on beans before I left. I planned things so that after I got back from my meeting, I stopped off at my local roaster to pick up a new bag of coffee beans on the way home from the airport.

      I didn’t set up a travel plan anywhere near this comprehensive when my wife’s due date was approaching when our kids were born. 😆

      still no Coffee through the post, I was hoping it would arrive today it was posted last Saturday but it is obviously stuck somewhere in the system, I have been limiting myself to 1 cup a day!, I know it is first World problems and all that but it is still a pain in the arse

      Arrived today, completely by surprise - tracking hadn’t been updated.

      There is still 1kg that’s apparently never left the Manchester sorting office.

          I’m sorry for all your woes, but it’s mad to me that my post (on the Isle Of Wight) which is normally far worse than elsewhere seems to be mostly ok. I’ve got a reasonable stock now but coffee beans/equipment from multiple places (blue coffee box, Rave, coffee hit, random Chinese ebay store and Bella Barista) have all arrived in a timely manner when accounting for strikes. I am currently missing my dog and hat order but that was only dispatched on Friday and I’d normally expect it today.

          Edit: As if by magic my Dog & Hat order has just arrived.

          I realise I’m lucky with options to get very good coffee only a short drive or even cycle away as backup for when the post is late (by which I mean I only realise I need to order as I tip the last of my beans into the hopper)

          still nothing, not had Coffee for two days now but have switched the Mara on and waiting for it to warm up I may have enough for two cups then I will open up (reluctantly) the Old Brown Java blend beans from Nottingham that say '‘use before December 23’', got to be better than instant, I hope!

          Guess I’m lucky - ordered mine (2kg Horsham) and half a kilo from Carrington’s Carnforth Lancashire - all arrived so am prepped for Christmas, New Year and beyond.

          Fortunately my local coffee shops always have 1kg bags of Roasting Party. Maybe not my usual blend, but it will do….

          it has arrived!!, strange thing as I ordered some Decaff on Sunday for my wife and it arrived today as well, mine took 10 days to arrive and hers was 5 days, I am a happy camper
