just weighed out the Coffee I have left and I reckon it is 5-6 cups, my next delivery is stuck somewhere in the postal service and with strikes today and tomorrow I reckon I will run out, I may try at a couple of independent Coffee shops in Grantham to see if I can buy a bag from them, I may order an extra kilo from Rave so I always have a 'stock' in the cupboard, times are hard when I have to cut down on my Coffee intake!!

Ran out this morning. No car to drive to get some until this afternoon. Local cafe fell out with the local roasters as they refused to listen to how to set up their grinders and machines and so the roaster stopped supplying them so no good beans within walking distance. I’ve had to drink 3 cups of tea this morning to get some caffeine! Think I need some backup in the freezer always or try to be organised and buy more in advance. Good luck with your search

it's only when something unusual happens and it effects you that you have to think of alternative solutions to the problem,I will keep extra Coffee in stock but it can get expensive, to me anyway

Have never ran out to be honest… also, after having gotten tired of dealing with ordering, cost, waiting for shipment, etc. from commercial roasters I gladly started roasting my own. These days I keep upwards of 90 lbs onhand for personal consumption (stored in a very 'proper' manner), rotate the stash and use as needed. I can roast what I want, when I need it, never stuck with the profiles of commercial roasted stuff and I'm saving an average of 50% in the process. I've pushed some green I had onhand upwards of 1 yr in my possession and the last batch was still easily as good as the 1st, so I definitely don't buy into the '6 month' use for greens. Anyway, of course home roasting isn't for everyone, but my only regret is not doing it sooner than I did, going on 7 yrs now.

I’m sorry for all your woes, but it’s mad to me that my post (on the Isle Of Wight) which is normally far worse than elsewhere seems to be mostly ok. I’ve got a reasonable stock now but coffee beans/equipment from multiple places (blue coffee box, Rave, coffee hit, random Chinese ebay store and Bella Barista) have all arrived in a timely manner when accounting for strikes. I am currently missing my dog and hat order but that was only dispatched on Friday and I’d normally expect it today.

Edit: As if by magic my Dog & Hat order has just arrived.

I realise I’m lucky with options to get very good coffee only a short drive or even cycle away as backup for when the post is late (by which I mean I only realise I need to order as I tip the last of my beans into the hopper)

still nothing, not had Coffee for two days now but have switched the Mara on and waiting for it to warm up I may have enough for two cups then I will open up (reluctantly) the Old Brown Java blend beans from Nottingham that say '‘use before December 23’', got to be better than instant, I hope!
