DrForinor - as Dave says, Gaggia portafilter are not E61 standard as the lugs are in a different place, as in 2 and 8 o’clock rather than 3 and 9 o’clock.

DrForinor - yes, ish. Some with thicker lugs won’t fit, but in essence, any E61 should fit just fine.

I use an ECM one. I’ve tried Rocket. Of course E61 lelit ones will fit too.

Thank you.

BB are out of stock of all the ones I like. I’ll keep eye out.

I’m not really expecting anyone know but I thought I would ask on the off chance - I will be contacting BB tomorrow though, but this issue only just happened.

I went to into the LCC advanced settings, to turn off Bloom phase for button 1 (set to 0), and turn Steam pre-infusion off for button 2 (set to 0). All good.

Switch the machine back on again and all that it will do now is just continually flush from the group head with “Lelit” flashing on the LCC. I tried resetting the advanced settings back to factory to see if it made a difference but still no change. Switched off completely from the plug also, still no change. Troubleshooting in Lelit’s pdf doesn’t mention this issue at all.

Can anyone shed light on this, please?

DrForinor I think thats the start up sequence for flushing the machine thru first use. factory reset does this. There might be a minor upgrade to the Liz LCC? I can’t remember if mine does it.

Fill tank, let it run into a jug, and it should stop.

DavecUK This happened before I reset, but it’s because of this that I then reset.

Should I just let it run it’s course? How long do I wait?

Did I do anything wrong by changing the BLS2 to 0 and the BLP1 to 0?

Ok it did stop flushing after an indicated 300ml in the jug.

If I want to keep the steam boiler on, but want to use the non steam pre-infusion, was it right to set the seconds to 0? So for example, button 2 I want non steam pressure. So in the advanced settings I set BLS2 to 0, is that the way to do it if I didn’t want to switch to ECO mode?

Basically I want to set 1 button to use steam pressure for the pre-infusion and the other button to use no steam pressure for the pre-infusion, without having to switch to ECO. What is the best way to do this?

you need to read this carefully https://sway.office.com/S5J4d9Jp4Y9LdVFx?ref=Link

If Ev1=1, then Steam preinfusion will always happen by default if the steam boiler is above 115C, below that temp, it will default to bloom phase.

What you want to do is not within the programming. It can only be achieved by having buttons set up correctly for both types of preinfusion and turning the steam boiler off, just before the shot if you want it to default to bloom phase. A simple press and hold the minus button for 3 seconds.

          DavecUK Thanks.

I did read it all through. I just thought perhaps a 0 second would disable it haha. Ok, all good, thank you.

Is this normal? The brew boiler way overshoots my set temperature of 94degC? It actually went to 116.

DrForinor - That was your mistake. :-) - It’s a lot to take on. I read it about 10 times over a few weeks, and no doubt had to go back to it to read bits and bobs again just to make sure! 🤣

              Yeah man.

Clever way they heat up, but I hear you on the manual. These machines are so complex now

It should. Any standard stuff should fit. Mine is an ECM and it fits fine.

DrForinor if your ordering from there get some coffee aswell, clockwork is one of my favourites. See your in Aberdeen, if you go to the beach front look for Cairn Coffee and you’ll not be disappointed, great for a chat all this coffee as well.
