Having returned from short holiday, thought I would steralise the Osmio and renew filters- all went fine.
As Verona had not been used I thought I would drain the boilers and refill with fresh water- draining- no problem.
Washed and cleaned the tank and refilled with fresh water- I had remembered to de-activate brew boiler prior to draining. Switch on pump runs-runs no water movement. Remove pump all turning freely but no water, tried priming via suction tube -nothing. ?? blocked S/vave ? or one way valve.
Stripped S/valves and one way valves- all clear ,replaced all and tried again still no water but pum / motor sound fine. Final thought could it be pump head sulking / failed ?
Suggestions welcomed- Polite ones
Any ideas/ thoughts
Elcarajillo Sometimes pumps can be a bugger to prime. Did you actually try a squeezable bottle full of water with the tip rammed into the pump tube.
No Dave I did not, I will source a suitable vessel in the AM and give it a try.
Many thanks for the suggestion🤙
I had a clean empty cartridge for a mastic gun, washed filled with water and injected.–still no water ???
All my cleaning /dismantling for nothing. It turned out when lifting the tank out it had nudged the switch which changes between tank and mains😡.
Back up and brewing coffee😀 .
Thanks again Dave.
