Pompeyexile Shall we start a poll?
Back to my roots
Well, I contacted Richard at Coffee Compass and it turns out one of the 4 bags I received, he could tell me with certainty was roasted on July 25th. That is brilliant because it means I can tuck in! I would normally leave them a bit longer of course. Java Jampit used to be my go to bean. It has a hint of smokiness similar to monsooned malabar. So, my brother was round and I christened him then had a cappa followed by an americano…..sheer bliss!
Think I will try some beans from Coffee Compass. You who are buying from them do you have any certain recommendations?
Tjyven CC are best for medium plus (they call it mahogany roast). That iss not to say their medium roasts are not good but a lot of roasters, once you get to nearly medium all seem to throw their hands in the air and give up! I like their speciality blends
Seems they only ship in UK and I live in Sweden. Too bad.
Tjyven I would email them and ask if they would be willing to ship to you matey. They can only say no!
Tjyven you have plenty a very good roasters in Sweden!!😉
profesor_historia Yes I know but always fun to try new roaster! 😀You have any favourites here?
Tjyven I live in Spain so I only buy locally but less than before, I am not so much into spending a lot in coffee, I decided it’s just not worth it
My school chum who came over and stayed with me last weekend lives in Trollhattan. I’ve been about 5 times and Loved it.
