Greetings, I had friends around this morning and as a result the Evo has been switched on all day. Mid morning I noticed that the heater cartridge display had turned to off. I did not think anything of it at the time, then half an hour later it happened again. I had definitely not touched it meanwhile!
So, thinking out loud, the display just tells you the temp in the group. Is it a fair consideration that one or both of the heater cartridges are failing, or might there be something else at play? If they are failing, does it make sense to replace them both, and is this a job that me, as the village idiot could do or do I need to find a coffee engineer?
Evo Leva heater cartridges
Is it driven by a thermostat? I.e turns on as required?

Tal My technical ability finished with the word Is! All I know is that when working the display has the temp settings for the group and the 2 boilers. Then the group switches off as per the photo
The heater cartridges either work or they don’t and there are 2 separate ones…Why the group is switching off, I don’t know, I have never seen that before…have you changed anything?
DavecUK Nothing has been touched Dave. The 3 displays are on as usual then all of a sudden the group temp switches off

Could be a fault with the display…contact ACS for this one.
