That looks like a lot of fun, but how do you guess the grind setting if you only get 19 grams?

    MacPhisto the name of the roaster is 19grams but each container is 50g. The way I used it is two singles morning and evening @ 7.7g and two doubles @ 17.3g.

    Funnily enough today’s Indian managed to get spot on. Single dose grinders make it so much easier especially if you’ve got some previous experience with same origins etc.

    Vesuvius also helps a lot with its pressure profiles. I don’t remember when I last had a non drinkable shot.

        50 grams gives better odds, but I would still manage to screw it up too often. I would guess that it would take me more than two attempts to dial in any given new coffee. Maybe I’m just terrible at this whole thing?

            Picked this up on Ebay for a bargain price. They are ridiculously expensive shipped from Weber Workshops. Mirror I’ve been using for ages is a PITA - too big and doesn’t incline enough. The looking glass is small, very adaptable and doesn’t get in the way. There are a couple on eBay at the moment but too pricey for me.

            Really rate the Switch - my current go to brewer - so versatile and price isn’t too steep.

              It’s also my favourite daily brewer. It makes a positive difference in the cup compared to Clever for short steeps. I wonder why!

              I have not tried a long steep with the Switch, though.

                There’s only £4.00 price difference between the 02 and 03. Latter allows you to brew more where 02 is more limited. You can still brew one cup in the 03.
