Hi,
I have a problem with my Vesuvius after descaling. When idle the pump pressure reading is changing between 0,0 bar and 0,1 bar. Anyone knows what’s wrong?

Ok. Update.
I opened it up and disconnected the wire to the pressure sensor and connected again. Now it works. I’m happy.
Thanks, yes i think that was the problem.
Pressure sensor is red thing on water distributor just behind the e61 group. There should be a wire/s coming from this sensor.
Nothing wrong looking about it but pressure still flashing between 0.0 and 0.1 when idle. I don’t think that pressure difference is an issue but could be indicative of something loose maybe?
Possibly a loose connection, either one midway down wire or in control box. Could even be electrical noise.
The other possibility might be that it’s registering the actual pressure in the brew circuit, although I thought it didn’t do that, I could be wrong though.
Perhaps email ACS if you’re concerned, see what they say.
Mine started doing the same thing the other day. It could have been like this from the beginning and I had not noticed. Will definitely look inside and check connections.
After reading this I keep checking up on mine seems to be sitting steadily at 0.1 bar

To all, I wouldn’t worry about it then, I think mine might have. You can always look at my videos.
DavecUK yeah I guess 0.1 bar fluctuation in any system is surely not the end of the world. As you said Dave, that could even be noise, at that level of accuracy we can’t complain!! I suppose if the range increases then it could be worth checking out. @Wilderwein is your machine now sitting and staying at zero when idle?
I have been watching the screen every time in the kitchen now and noticed it fluctuated twice or so.

Dave no it does not measure the pressure in the brew circuit. If i turn off the pump but don’t open the e61 valve the brew pressure reading is still 0. To all the other writers. In my case it helped to disconnect the cable and re attache. Maybe try to clean the cable connection it could be oxide that causes the problem.
I have been using it for more than two years now and this morning I paid attention. Not surprisingly it fluctuates between 0 and 0.1. Being the reading from the pressure transducer, I do not expect it to be a real pressure difference but as mentioned by several of you is most likely noise.

Ok now it’s back. I’m confused. The good thing is that it seems common and don’t effect the output. The bad is it disturbs me.
