Currently, Good Omens 2, on Prime, with David Tennant and Michael Sheen. A bit zany but I’m enjoying it.
What I'm listening to/Watching at the moment
CoffeePhilE I’m a bit disappointed in Good Omens 2. It doesn’t seem to have the depth and humour of the first series. I was surprised to see that the co-screenwriter is none other than John Finnemore of the excellent “Cabin Pressure” fame. I haven’t enjoyed his recent radio stuff either.
Maybe. It might just be (for me) that it was entirely new in Series 1 but for Series 2, far less is new. Still, either way, it’s been a good time filler for an episode or two at a time. I guess the acid test is, having finished it (which I haven’t yet) was it worth watching.

David Attenborough’s Breaking Boundaries on Netflix. Obviously on Global warming and how far we have pushed but offers a silver lining to push back.
Also worth watching is his’ 2 seasons documentary on our planet.
Pompeyexile watched the first episode and was enough to put me off 😂

1883 the prequel to Yellowstone on Paramount +. Had rave reviews but whilst it is good and very watchable, in my humble opinion still not a patch on Yellowstone.
I `m always way behind on what to watch, but I started a series on Prime called The Terminal List. I don’t want to give anything away, but it is along the lines of Jack Reacher
Pompeyexile 1883 was pretty good but we really liked 1923. Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren. Hope there’s a second season.
Just watched the first episode of 1923 and the jury is still out. Need to get a bit further in before making up my mind.
I find most TV boring now,
I really don’t know why I have 3 streaming platforms lol, suppose the kids watch them.

Pompeyexile I think we’ll give Yellowstone a whirl tonight.
Just started watching Madmen, i’m late to the party I know!
Check out Mr Inbetween.
Ordinary single father who just happens to be a contract killer.
Amberale Check out Mr Inbetween.
Like the look of that and will give it a go. Cheers!
We don’t have Netflix or what ever.
I offered it to the Studmistress last Christmas but she has done nothing about it.
I binged on Mr Inbtwn mid year while visiting friends interstate and loved it.
Just watched episode 1 of Mr Inbetween and it’s a go=er for the next few weeks. Madmen relegated to standby until finished, thanks for the recommendation. PS the film The Magician is also on the list now. same guy, same premise to the series so should be a good one …
For anyone who likes a good archeological documentary and has Netflix then Cave of Bones is a real doozy. skeletel bones found in some caves in South Africa that are 250 to 300 thousand years old and appear to be a new species that sit between apes and humans. What makes them incredible though is why the bones were there in the first place and even though they would only have had brains the size of your fist possibly were acting on a concept thought only to be found in humans over a hundred thousand years later.
