I have been chatting with Ste off Django Coffee. As a part of the conversation, we touched the coffeetime community and enquired if he is happy to give a discount on coffee purchases — not equipments — for our members.

It is very nice of Django Coffee to offer us a discount on coffee purchases.

Ste has created our forum specific discount code for all single-purchase coffee. The discount code for use is #Djangocoffeetime. This will get all our members 15% off the price.

It’s a single purchase discount only; it won’t work on subscriptions as discount is already built in (please don’t try).

I am not sure if the discount will work on several single purchases over time. I will enquire and post.

Ste also mentioned the 30% discount that is running until midnight on Sunday. The discount code for this is #Newroaster

Please get in touch with Django Coffee for any issues with the code. Thanks Django Coffee!

I had ordered taking advantage of their new roaster 30% deal. The main attraction was a lightly roasted Chinese Gui Ben. I added Kanya to that. Unfortunately, they ran out of Gui Ben.

Ste, true to his word, contacted me and offered to replace Gui Ben with their subscription special Anaerobic Natural Columbian — very much like Santa Ana. Considering the main attraction was the Chinese coffee and I still have some Ana in the freezer, I have taken a full refund of the order.

Thanks to Ste for his replacement offer!

Wow that’s good news. I regularly order by the kilo from Ste and his kilo prices are hard to beat. I’ve got an order in with him at the moment for a Ugandan double whammy of Mbata and Kisinga, I wanted more Santa Ana but it seems to be all gone. That was lovely.

Was perfectly timed with the 30% off while he gets the new roaster running. Apparently my order in the post so I’ll be checking it out in a couple of weeks.

I had a kg of Rancho Grande arrive today, so will probably pass as storage is an issue.

I did however note this on the same email:

Sounds delicious, so I hope they have some left in a few weeks!

The description is a bit odd on the offer. It mentions the ‘FIALLOS’ being the special offer at £16.50 per kilo including postage, but I ended up.paying £18.25 (£1.75 postage and 29p sales tax?) Not noticed a sales tax before but I’ve ordered from Majorca so wonder if there’s something been added in there because of this?

I’m tempted. I already got a bag of this in the hopper at the moment and it’s nearly done. I am enjoying it so maybe I’ll get more because it’s a bit of a bargain. However I do have a couple of bags of Rancho Grande and something else that I haven’t opened yet so it’s stockpiling!

I got sucked into ordering a KG of Ethiopian Kabira, which has a cup score of 88.25. With the one-time order discount, £20 a KG for a medium light is a no brainer compared to a similarly priced coffee and cup score for 500g elsewhere.

Will vac pack for 3 months use. 🤣

It adds £1.75 for postage for me as well. Still a good deal but it does specifically say free postage

30% off all coffee at Django this weekend.

What are people enjoying from there at the moment? Thinking of getting a kilo.

          Edit: code #FOURDAYWEEKEND

simonc ive recently had the Honduras Fiallos and Timor-Leste Samoro.

I didnt enjoy the Samoro, a little too light for me but the Fiallos is super juicy! The peach tea came right through and even cut with milk but best on its own in my opinion.

I guess most of Django’s roasts aren’t really for milk based beverages, too light.
