Del_UK DavecUK She is indeed a Shiba Inu! Not many people know the bread, despite them being so internet famous lately Elcarajillo Sometimes I do wonder… I’m not 100% convinced that she isn’t a cat!
CoffeePhilE Sadly, no cats, no dogs. Over the years, really, my movements have been a bit too erratic, too much time away, to make it practical. I ’spose I could now, but I’m really too set in my ways, which don’t include pets.
Del_UK Anyone else trying to train their dog to make coffee?? Think I need to get her a step or something!
dfk41 We lost our 12 year old Dachshund on November 22 and on December 10th, Bella, a beautiful 7 year old rescue dog arrived with us. She slotted straight in as the video we took on the first day shows!
IntoxNitram Parents cats who I used to live with until a year ago: Probably the bit I miss about living at home most! Current landlords won’t let us have pets.
DavecUK IntoxNitram Current landlords won’t let us have pets. That’s a real shame, do they give any reason?
IntoxNitram DavecUK they reckon the place is too small. We have a small one bed mews house so I can somewhat understand it but neighbours also have pets and think it’s big enough for one cat, they don’t need much space.
DavecUK IntoxNitram Perhaps if you let them know it’s a cat you want, they might be fine with that, as opposed to a dog, noise/barking…which is why they may have simply put a no pets rule.
IntoxNitram DavecUK did ask specifically as the contract mentioned the need to request pets, the rights of which wouldn’t be reasonably withheld. My grandma had an older cat that needed rehoming when she moved into a home but we were told no unfortunately.
Pompeyexile This will be the one and only time I will post in this thread as I DO NOT like cats. Forever having to clean up a lot of cat poo in my garden and one time getting it in my mouth has probably got a lot to do with it. As for dogs…too expensive (food, vets bills, insurance) and too tying. Plus they die and you are very sad. Or, you die first and are not found for a week and if the cat is in the house, it will eat your face off…ungrateful B******s! Sorry all you dog and cat lovers out there.
