Yep Danish Whisk and here’s one I pepared earlier and do use….occasionally

Oops! sorry. A bit late to the party on that one.

It looks like it is for placing something….you push it in so the top piece is in a circular opening, then push and twist, to secure?

DavecUK Getting close. Something does go in the circular opening which can spring open slightly wider - then can be secured by the loose collar. No twisting required though, and not for placing anything.

Might work, if you have a wine bottle with a neck about 5mm in diameter. :-) But no - not that.

I believe I have one of those or something very similar because I used to play a lot of guitar! Got mine when I had a Yamaha 12 string acoustic because the bridge pins were too close together and I couldn’t grip to pull them out.

Flat_Eric Ladies and gentlemen - we have a winner. Well gentlemen, don’t think there are any ladies here.

As Flat_Eric says, it’s for pulling the pins that secure the strings through the bridge on steel strung acoustic guitars. It slips over the head of the pin, then the collar is pushed down before pulling the pin out. It saves levering them out which risks damage to the bridge or pliers which risks damage to the pin.

Yup, but I won’t give it away too soon!

OK I’ll bite…..well I was going to until I realised that’s a little hooked spike and there is a groove in the block…so no I’m not gonna guess because I have absolutely no idea.,

Norvin has that been fabri-cobbled together or is that how it comes?
