Lets kick off with some beautiful measuring equipment and it's even coffee related for some projects I'm doing. Micrometer (1 micron), depth gauge (1 micron) and calipers (10 micron). A pleasure to use, especially the callipers as my other set are Mitutoyo, but 60 years old (my dads) and in thou. You don’t need to, just drag and drop the photos in the editor.

I’ve an Imgur account, never had to give a phone number, is this a new thing.

Not sure how new it is with Imgur, but they do say it;'s required for all new accounts. If you have an existing account (I don’t, obviously) it shouldn’t be needed.. Or IIRC, to be strict, all new direct-access accounts. If you sign in via your Facebookm account, etc, then it isn’t, but as I don’t have, never have had and certainly don’t want an FB account either, it doesn’t help.

I’ll try taking a pic, transferring it to the PC and dropping into editor. …. probably tomorrow. Now is bedtime (23:28( and my book is calling me.

@CoffeePhilE If you’re on a mobile device (it might be the same on computer, I’m just not sure as I don’t tend to post that way) just press the media manager button circled in red on the image below. You can the upload an image and it puts on imgur anonymised with no details or account required.

Once it’s uploaded it should be selected (press if it isn’t) and then press the “select file” button at the bottom right of the window and it will add the link.

CoffeePhilE no problem. Apart from occasionally needing to close the tab and open it again when the like/reply buttons vanish it seems a pretty good system.

It’s actually a lot faster since the upgrade to version 2 and right clicking for a new windows seems to ork properly for me now……although I still prefer the pop out sidebar.

DavecUK I’ve also found I have to close and reopen the tab very rarely these days too.

It makes good business sense - under-promise and over-deliver = good. But over-promise and under-deliver = bad.

Mine arrived a few weeks ahead of expectation too, earlier this year. I guess they give a maximum time, with a margin of error, and then aim to beat it. And I was similarly delighted. Still am, for that matter. It felt like Christmas arrived as expected on Dec 25th, and then again, a couple of weeks later. .

Let´s hope they over deliver in my case. When I ordered mine NZ, they said delivery in March.

Lelit say that they will ship end February, so maybe, just maybe they will arrive very soon.

Well the Niche Zero arrived a couple of hours ago. It took about 8 tries to get a decent shot of Neighbourhood Coffee Brewhemian Rhapsody but I got there in the end😎I’m happy but that might be down to the massive caffeine hit I’ve just had. I had to adjust the setting a lot coarser than I expected (28-29) to get a good extraction - 18g in basket, 37g out in 32 seconds (including 6 seconds pre-infusion. Tomorrow I will be trying a grind for the V60 as I’ve had too much coffee today.

Yorkie_Al As a tip, when at espresso grind levels, 1 mark is about 4 seconds on/off the pour

For filter you have top grind quite coarse, probably at the end of the scale or even more
