3 or 4 is pretty standard for me. If I’m not out the door too early for work I’ll have an espresso before I leave. Then it’s aeropress unless I’m working somewhere near an independent cafe (always have a Google if I’m on the same site for a few days).
Weekend I sneak as many in as I can before my other half tells me off 😂

Total of 4 or 5 americanos each day. I might swap one for an espresso, especially if I’m dialling a new bean in. One straight away when I get up, another at about 9am, another about 11, probably 2 more by the time the machine is off by 3:30pm, I try not to have any after 3:30/4pm. Not sure how I’ll manage when I go back on site for work in a couple of months (probably a lower coffee bill!) aeropress I think

1 to 2 normally but when I get the Niche, I can see it creeping up just because I’ll be like a kid in a sweet shop trying out all sorts.

I usually have about 2-3 cups of something….occasionally a fourth.

I’d be interested in seeing, for espresso drinkers, how many shots they drink in a day…assuming most drinks will be made with doubles.

      Two for me. One first thing in the morning then one around lunchtime. Any more than that in the daytime and I get a bit jittery…

      Normally 1 double in the week when I’m at work, before leaving the house. 2 at weekends. I am a teacher so there is absolutely zero time in the day to make anything at all. In the school holidays I will have a double espresso first thing in the morning and again late morning, and then a filter mid afternoon.

      It depends…if I have acquired interesting new beans or equipment then……..and really, tea doesn’t count does it?

      Couple of doubles first thing, one straight spro, one long black, then mix it up between pourover and espresso during the day….. child of the 70’s and after all of that, coffees just a mild stimulant, lol lol!!

      Trying to be more moderate but its an uphill battle. Even though I’m pressing on with the LM single basket/Tidaka setup - I just drink twice as many then, lol!! Still, I’m off alcohol since chemo some years ago so it’s my sole remaining vice.

        I’ll be moving over to decaf, so I will be able to have as many cups as I want and still be able to have a good night’s sleep

        I forgot to mention that I usually have a couple of cups of decaf filter throughout the day as well. Assuming I have the beans in, otherwise I relegate my taste buds to instant decaf.

        No I wouldn’t count tea, I drink a lot of that on top of my 2-3 coffees a day though.
