What brendan chooses not to acknowledge is that the southern border collapsed as soon as trump was replaced by biden because biden immediately on the first day of his tenure reversed virtually all of trump’s anti immigration executive orders including rhe stay in Mexico directive and allowed the flood to come in and then after they come in to catch and release them into the population. Of course modt of them claimed asylum which allowed to backlog the court system for the next ten years and meanwhile they can work etc and get properly entrenched do that the Democrats cna then give them amnesty in another few years and induc ta few million more democrat voters to turn America into a permanent democrat voting dupr majority…
The Petition - for another general election

That logic must mean that you have no background in science and math given your defective reasoning and conclusions…

Or rather the real reason why you won’t reveal your reasoning is because you have none. So wrong and yet so unable to accept the truth…
In fact you were unable to refuse even a single one of my assertions on what the dems are really doing to illegally bring in millions to guarantee for them a prrmanent super majority and how biden counteracted trump executive orders to create the immigration catastrophe. The Democrats are the real existential threat to the Republic and to democracy and they have always been since their beginnings as the slavery supporting party, the party of the South in the civil war, the party behind the ku klux klan and the party behind foreign wars and expansion.
Trump 76.9 million votes // 49.9% of votes cast
Harris 74.4 million votes // 48.3% of votes cast
Hardly a mandate, a landslide, or any other such nonsense
Actually, the Trump wall was collapsing soon after construction. Real high-quality stuff just like his other projects.
There is a pertinent line from the Bard that I’m too polite to post here.
Reveal – why? I’m happy to discuss privately with persons I trust and respect.

You are still avoiding my point which is that he still won the popular vote nonetheless and it is still the biggest win of any republicsn since 1988.

If you had any real reasons, you would just spew it out just s you have stated so many other reasons on so many other things on trump above. But you won’t justify this particular point that trump caused the Ukraine war because you can’t. Own it instead of evading it.
And on your dig on not respecting me, you show your leftist nature by insulting me even though I never did that to you. I argue strongly but I argue fairly and I don’t resort to insults. The surest test of a leftist is their contempt for others.

Again another insult. You haveno substanrive reasoning to speak of so u have to resort to ad hominem attacks. The first person to go personal is the first person to lose - that is always the rule of the debate…

You cannot even hold coherence in your arguments - nobody mentioned the wall let alone its construction quality at all so it is entirely irrelevant to what we were debating on. Going after a straw man won’t save your flailing arguments…
You forgot to mention
-- the space program
--the largest tax cut in US history
-- the President’s Council on Physical Fitness
--women’s right to vote
--ending child labor
--civil rights act
--Social Security
--Medicare
--SEC regulation of markets to protect consumers
--the Marshall Act – post ww2 aid for Europe
--NATO
and a number of other such subversive doings! How awful !
Not at all; I’m merely pointing out it is a very slim margin; not a mandate
BrendaninBrooklyn
What welfare check??? Bankruptcy isn’t a welfare payment - it is statutory protection from creditors…
BrendaninBrooklyn
Brendan, winning the election itself is a mandate to govern according to what one promised during the election! And as a matter of fact according to recent history of results, it is not slim at all relative to recent elections.
No insult intended. We’ve never met; never actually spoken; had a few minimal posting interactions here. I do not know you. End of story. You shouldn’t read into things without inquiring first. For the record I think you are wrong but I do not think you are a dope.
Someone else picks up that tab – whether they want to or not. Sounds like welfare to me.
I think you sincerely believe what you write. I have very strong reason to believe otherwise. In this instance, I sincerely hope I am wrong. Time will tell.
In January 2026 with one year of the new regime, I’ll be happy to discuss at least briefly, the reality that has occurred by then. Neither of us will convince the other now, so let history do so.
As for the rest, my private thoughts are not for public forums. If we get to actually know each other directly, I may be happy to discuss them with you.

NASA was set up in 1958 during a republican president’s term so not sure why u attribute it to the dems.
The biggest tax cuts were by reagan and bush - Obama merely extended the bush tax cuts.
The president council.on youth fitness that was the predecessor council was founded again by a republican president in 1956
As a matter of fact the 19th amendment that gave women the right to vote was introduced by a republican senator james mann…
On child labor laws, the first politicians to campaign for a national law to ban child labor was Alfred Beveridge a republican …
Instititng unemployment benefits legislatuon is hardly a feather in the cap to boast about.
Medicare has not been a success - medical care is th3 most expensive to provide in usa but yet the us provides the poorest medical support among Indistrialsied nations by far
The civil rights act was bipartisan in support.
The sec was created as result of the stock market crash of 1928 and was bi partisan in nature so why are u giving the credit to the dems?
It happened to be a democrat president in power at the end of ww2 but thr Marshall plan and nato had wide bi partisan support so don’t give the credit to the dems.
